To achieve its architectural shape, the Asylum Sweater is crafted from a thick fabric composed of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. This blend was chosen intentionally to limit the possibilities of wearing the piece casually. Polyester provides durability and ensures the garment retains its shape, while cotton delivers breathability and a refined texture.
The decision to include polyester was made to reduce creasing—a flaw often seen in 100% cotton garments. The sweater is meant to maintain its striking form without compromising its visual impact.
